Successfully introducing a product into a community demands a careful approach. In order to ensure success, Altiplano Ventures researches the target community, secures financing for the distribution of a poverty alleviating product within the community, educates users about the proper use of the product, and monitors the product's long-term effectiveness. Throughout a product's lifecycle, members of the Altiplano Ventures team also visit communities on a regular basis in order to maintain the relationship with each community as an active long-term partner in the success of each project.
These activities are typically financed through private donations and corporate sponsorships. These funds reduce the cost of products in order to make them more affordable to users within the community.
